Spec Ops: The Line

Spec Ops: The Line is an upcoming third-person shooter video game under development by Yager Development and produced by 2K Games. It is set to be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is encouraged by “Heart of Darkness”, a novel by Joseph Conrad.

The gameplay emphasis on squad-based tactics. Generally in Squad Team there are three major roles Captain Walker, Lieutenant Adams and Sergeant Lugo. The player controls Captain Martin Walker who is escorted by a Delta Force bravo team to rescue a U.S. Army Colonel who remained behind in Dubai.

To get done this goal, players must pass through the city to defuse enemy threats and natural disasters to find and recover the lost Colonel, named John Konrad. Enhanced weapons and equipments are made available for player with succession of level, which makes gaming experience a quite brutal one. Squad orders will also be available, allowing the player to direct their teammates to perform certain actions or move to certain areas.

A multi-player mode will be included as well, though the extent of this has yet to be revealed. Yager describes the multiplayer as a campaign that expands the single-player experience. In addition, there will be multiple mode types with at least a few focusing on territory deformation and expansion.

 Captain Walker:

“I DON’T WANT TO SAY BEING A SOLDIER IS A WAY OF LIFE, because honestly, that’s the kind of bullshit recruiters sling at high-school kids. But there is something to it… You gotta understand, being soldier isn’t like having a job. You’re just one gear in a much larger machine.

It’s not a way of life; it’s how we’re built. We’re just not wired for the day-to-day civilian world.

WE GO IN, WE DO WHAT’S NECESSARY, AND THEN WE DIE.”

 Lieutenant Adams:

“WHEN I’M ON THE JOB, I’M NOT A PERSON.

I’m a tool, and I have to adapt to whatever the mission requires. If I bring my baggage into the field, it’ll just get in the way.

Only thing that matters are the words ‘Mission Accomplished.’ The sooner I hear those words, THE SOONER I CAN GO HOME AND GET BACK TO BEING ME.”

Sergeant Lugo:

“SO HERE’S THE THING…I NEVER ACTUALLY THOUGHT THEY’D LET ME IN HERE.

Sure, I speak six languages. Gimme a broken radio and a paperclip, and I’m MacGuyver. I can deadeye a squirrel at 2000 meters. And, to top it all off, I’m the sexiest thing ever poured into a pair of ACUs.

WHEN YOU ADD IT ALL UP, IT’S OBVIOUS THEY’D WANT ME IN DELTA FORCE”

Mass Effect 3

An action role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. It is available on Xbox 360PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. A multiplayer co-op option has also been introduced in Mass Effect 3. Innovative changes take Mass Effect 3 to a new level.

Gameplay in third addition of Mass Effect series “Mass Effect 3” is influenced by choices made in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, warfare has been changed and refined.

It gives you a whole new action gaming experience with the changes made in this addition, features has been improved a vide extent, it comes with artificial intelligence,  new and upgraded weapons and grenades has been introduced, offers more option for moving around the combat zone. Player also has the option to customize its weapon with different types of tool available in the game such as scopes, mod.

It has three campaign modes: Action Mode, Story Mode and RPG Mode.

There is different level of combat in each mode. Generally these modes have same level of combat difficulty but they make differ in sense of conversations. As in Action Mode conversations have automatic replies, whereas in the other two modes the game introduces manual replies over automatic replies.

Those players who have saved their success files in the previous games of Mass Effect trilogy have the option to import that files into Mass Effect 3 to reflect the new choices.
